Stress stimulates the adrenal glands to produce more adrenalin, cortical, and sex hormones, which in the short term is helpful. But continued stress often means the adrenal glands cannot keep up and fatigue, depression and aches and pains can develop. If possible, remove, or remove yourself from whatever it is that is stressing you. Then do whatever works best for you:

  • partake in some regular ´moderate´ aerobic exercise
  • seek counselling or coaching
  • meditate
  • practise yoga
  • treat yourself to a massage
  • use visualisation techniques

...whatever it takes to refuel yourself and your adrenal glands. Keeping your adrenal glands in good working order allows them to manufacture plenty of natural hormones.
