What is LadyCare?
LadyCare is small powerful static magnetic device that attaches comfortably and discreetly to the front of your underwear.
What is LadyCare used for?
LadyCare is designed to help menopause symptoms naturally.
Is LadyCare suitable for me?
LadyCare is used by thousands of women for menopause as well as post menopause.
How will I know if I am menopausal?
Peri-menopause is the first stage and often begins long before you may expect. In some cases,as early as 35. The hormone production starts to slow and menopause related changes occur (e.g. hot flushes, length between periods etc.) Menopause is when a woman has been without periods for one year. The average age of actual menopause (cessation of menstruation) is 51 but can span from 45-58.
I am currently using HRT can I use LadyCare?
If you have decided with the consent of your GP that you wish to stop taking HRT - we suggest rather than suffer any possible withdrawal symptoms, use the LadyCare in conjunction for the first couple of weeks, before gradually reducing HRT.
Can LadyCare help me if I have had a hysterectomy/ovaries removed?
Yes, in our trial of 508 ladies we purposely did not exclude these women. All received similar benefits.
Will LadyCare help me lose weight/and or reduce bloating?
In our trial of 508 women, 99 lost an average of 14lbs. Possibly due to a reported reduction in bloating/fluid retention.
How soon should I notice benefits?
Do not be surprised if you notice benefits within the first few days however, to receive significant long term benefits it is important that it is worn continuously, 24 hours a day (to include overnight) as per instructions.
Where do I wear my LadyCare?
Approximately 4 inches below the navel a few inches to the left or right is fine.
How do I attach my LadyCare?
Separate the small round button from the main pear shape piece. Place the pear shape piece on the inside of your underwear with the curved face against your body. Place the small round magnetic button on the outside of your underwear.
Will LadyCare help my mood swings?
Yes, there has been a significant reduction in mood swings, depression and anxiety. Recent hormone profiles indicated a positive effect on the rebalancing of hormones naturally.
Is LadyCare safe for all women?
Yes, being aware of how women suffered with menopause later in life our aim was to develop a safe and natural alternative to HRT.
What is the difference between Herbal treatments, LadyCare & HRT?
Unlike HRT and other herbal treatments, LadyCare is hormone free. Initial research has indicated a positive effect on the natural rebalancing of hormones.
Can I use LadyCare whilst taking herbal supplements/ remedies?
We believe herbal supplements should not be required as LadyCare should be sufficient.
I have an under/over active thyroid can I use LadyCare?
Yes, many users have been able to reduce medication with their doctor’s consent.
Can I use LadyCare if I’m diabetic?
This is totally safe. We’ve had many cases reported of sugar levels being reduced with the use of LadyCare. While this is good news, discuss the reduction of your medication with your doctor.
Can I use LadyCare if I have cancer or have suffered with cancer?
Many women have been using LadyCare for years without any reported adverse effects on breast, cervical or uterine health.
I’m a diabetic and use an insulin syringe driver can I use LadyCare?
Normally diabetes is controlled daily by an injection using a manual syringe, as directed by the GP. However, if you use an automatic insulin syringe driver please check with your clinic due to pending definite research. We believe LadyCare should not have an effect.
I am taking medication for blood pressure can I use LadyCare?
No adverse effects have been reported.
Can I wear LadyCare with a coil?
No reported counter indications with the use of LadyCare.
Can LadyCare be worn if I have metal pins or implants?
This is perfectly safe. All metal implants are non magnetic, and therefore are not affected by LadyCare.
I have epilepsy, is LadyCare safe to use?
No reported adverse effects with the use of LadyCare.
Can I use my LadyCare whilst exercising?
Totally safe but this is a personal choice.
Can I use LadyCare whilst in hot weather or sunbathing?
LadyCare should not be affected by heat from the sun.
Can I wear LadyCare when swimming or bathing?
This is not advisable please remove as may cause loss or damage.
I accidentally got my LadyCare wet, have I damaged it?
This should not be a problem if not repeated.
Can I wear LadyCare to bed?
As per instructions, please use LadyCare 24 hours a day to include overnight.
Where is LadyCare manufactured?
LadyCare is manufactured by LadyCare Lifetime Ltd. In our factory within the UK. We take pride in our research and development. .
How do I clean my LadyCare?
Wipe regularly with a damp cloth to keep fresh.
Can I wear LadyCare to the airport?
We have thousands of women that travel daily, it is very unlikely you would experience a problem going through security, please wear your LadyCare as normal and take a leaflet with you in case of query.
How long will my LadyCare last?
Approximately 10 years.
I lost my LadyCare button do I have to buy a complete product? Replacement parts can be purchased separately.
Patients whose hot flushes due to Tamoxifen or other oestrogen modifying drugs – LadyCare has been found to reduce hot flushes, a side effect when Tamoxifen is prescribed for breast cancer. Many women have been using LadyCare for years without any reported adverse effects on breast, cervical or uterine health. We are therefore confident that the use of LadyCare in such situations will not lead to any increase in risk.
Menopause Hormone Production – We have ever-increasing feedback from women of the effectiveness of LadyCare in relieving menopause symptoms, confirming the results from our nationwide 508-women survey. Initial research has indicated a positive effect on natural hormone production. The mechanism by which this relief is achieved, although very exciting, still remains unclear. Possibly confirmed in further studies.
Detox Period - When first starting to wear LadyCare some may experience a slight “detox” effect. Symptoms can include headache or mild nausea. It will only last 24 hours, drink plenty of water and it should soon pass.
No Reported Adverse Effects - However, it is very important not to mix other brands of magnetic products with our products due to different configurations, we do not advise as it may cause discomfort.
